Used to know each other since their age of 5 years Norbert and Andy decided to found a Heavy Metal Band in summer 2000. The first Line-Up (including Bernd and his younger brother Werner) was completed in February 2001 – The official start of the band Lords of Decadence. After many gigs, a lot of successful events and the building of an own rehearsal room in Vienna, Werner decided to leave the band for private reasons (summer 2004). LOD get to know a very talented young man, Paul – Since autumn 2004 he’s the new drummer of Lords of Decadence. And it’s a new start… Lords Of Decadence recorded 'Cognitive Note Of Discord', initially used for promotion by the band & management, and now officially released by Scarlet in March 2005. Most important Europan magazine ROCK HARD/Germany voted LORDS OF DECADENCE 'Best Newcomers Of 2004' and also the other feedback are super! The sound of the band should be described as the perfect mix between Children Of Bodom, Soilwork and In Flames. 10 songs with an incredible impact and a melodic edge that will impress all the modern metal fans! The band already played live in Germany (Summer Breeze Festival 2004), Italy (Eternity of Rock Festival 2004), Slovenia (MetalCamp Festival 2004) and supported Bands like Soilwork, The Forsaken, Suidakra, Disbelief, Mörk Gryning, Green Carnation.
